Cant wait

Amanda and her family are coming tonight to our house for dinner. We have not seen each other in almost 8 months! Plus she has never seen our house in the 3 years we have been here:)

I do not know what I would have done without Amanda this past year. She has been my rock during the loss of Dad (other than God and Callie). We still talk on the phone at least 3 times a week. One conversation lasted over 4 hours a few days ago! Lots of people say they wouldn't know what to talk about for that long and I guess that proves she is a true best friend (well besides being a cousin also) Plus we laugh at the fact that 1/2 of the conversation we are talking or dealing with our kiddos!!

I can not wait to see Callie and Mitchell getting to play together tonight. I hope they can grow up to be as close and their Mommys are!!! Pics to come later....

Yuck

I have not felt well at all today. As soon as I got up this morning I could tell my blood pressure was up due to racing pulse, dizziness and then I got very sick at my stomach and have been all day long. Have not had any energy to do anything. Which is not good since we plan on painting the living room, dining room, kitchen and hall this weekend.

I am hoping to feel better tomorrow so I can start prepping for the paint session!

Callie also goes to the doc tomorrow to see if we need to see an ENT for tubes. Prayers for that are welcome!

So thankful

Days like today I am so thankful to God for a healthy child. I am still reading and praying for the two babies that I found on blogs. Little Brayden and Harper. What true miracles these little ones have been.

Both sets of parents expected to have babies, and go right home like it should be. However both are still fighting battles just to get to take their angels home.

God has been so good to me. I never thought I would have Callie and now to read what parents face and go through makes me see I have so much to be thankful for.
